You put WHAT in a smoothie?




If you look close enough, you might see some little green dots in my latest smoothie. That is broccoli.

Apparently sinus infections make me more smoothie-inventive? Haha.

Before you start "EWWW"ing all over the place...you cannot taste the broccoli. At all. (Well, I actually like broccoli, so it wouldn't be a problem for me if I could. But for the rest of you, who may or may not like broccoli...trust me, you cannot taste it.)

What did I put in this smoothie?

1/2 banana
1/2-1 cup frozen strawberries
5-8 frozen broccoli "trees"
1/2-1 cup milk
1/2 cup vanilla frozen yogurt

I didn't exactly measure, so all those are estimates.

  1. I thought for sure I commented this...Anyways..we have a whole front patio of greens that we actually put in all of our smoothies which make them vibrant green. they are gorgeous & delicious
